Our biology teacher Mihael Kolomaz participated in the international Erasmus+ project “Green Space for Activity and Integration”, which took place in Poland, organized by the association ARTECO Pavletić. The project gathered over 30 participants from six European countries, and its goal was to promote a sustainable lifestyle, cooperation, and learning through outdoor activities.
Over ten days, participants attended various workshops on ecological topics, exchanged ideas and experiences, and explored biologically interesting locations throughout the region. The program provided an opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience and encouraged creative thinking about the importance of environmental preservation and sustainable development.
Our teacher Mihael emphasizes that the project was exceptionally inspiring and that he will apply the acquired knowledge and experience in his future work with students in biology classes and school ecological projects.
The Green Space for Activity and Integration project was co-financed by European Union funds as part of the Erasmus+ program and with the support of the Mirabilis Foundation.
