We had a wonderful time at the European Day of Languages at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb!
Our students enjoyed the lectures, socializing, and the true European spirit.
A big thank you to the European Commission in Croatia for the excellent organization and for this initiative that celebrates the richness of languages and cultures.
Across Europe, 700 million Europeans represented in the Council of Europe are encouraged to learn as many languages as possible, at any age, both in and out of school. Since linguistic diversity is a tool for intercultural understanding and a key part of our continent’s cultural heritage, the Council of Europe promotes multilingualism throughout Europe.
As PKG – European School Zagreb, we particularly value such moments – because languages connect people and open new doors.
