PKG, Our Path
[Verse 1]
From the start, we know who we are
A voice born from classic books
Old classrooms in our hearts
And our gaze bravely moves forward
Beyond us
Greek
Latin in the background
Now seven paths shine before us
One school
Many stories
Each story gives us the same home, know this
[Chorus]
PKG
Our Path
Our City
PKG
European School Zagreb
Here every dream is born
In two languages
One day
PKG
Our strong step
PKG
Here every voice matters
From tradition to tomorrow
PKG
Our school
Our fire
[Verse 2]
In one desk, the world mixes
Words in English
Croatian laughter
Different
Yet together
We learn that courage erases all fear and sin
In every building, our echo lasts
Hallways remember the first
The last class
We are generations in a chain
Bringing Europe home
Every voice and every heart now
[Chorus]
PKG
Our Path
Our City
PKG
European School Zagreb
Here every dream is born
In two languages
One day
PKG
Our strong step
PKG
Here every voice matters
From tradition to tomorrow
PKG
Our school
Our fire
[Bridge]
P.K.G.
Let it be heard (hey!)
A voice from Zagreb connecting the world
P.K.G.
We are together
The power of knowledge
Friendship
Pride – all
[Chorus]
PKG
Our Path
Our City
PKG
European School Zagreb
Here every dream is born
In two languages
One day
PKG
Our strong step
PKG
Here every voice matters
From tradition to tomorrow
PKG
Our school
Our fire
PKG, Our Path is not just a song about the school. It is a story about a place that grows together with its students, about a journey that begins with knowledge and leads to the world.
The song reminds us that PKG began as a classical gymnasium, founded on humanist values, language, culture, and thought. From these foundations, today’s PKG developed into a European gymnasium, PKG European School Zagreb, with 7 specializations that open different paths for future generations.
The song intertwines past and present, Greek and Latin with bilingual daily life in Croatian and English, Zagreb as home and Europe as a space of opportunities. It speaks of students who come from diverse backgrounds but learn together, of voices that are encouraged, of fears that are overcome, and of values that endure.
PKG, Our Path is a song of belonging.
A song about a school that remembers, but also looks forward.
A song about generations that succeed each other, but share the same spirit.
A song about a path that remains a part of everyone who has walked it.
