Great Success: EU Funds PKG Project for a Happier and Healthier School

PKG European School Zagreb proudly enters a new era of education thanks to an EU project that transforms our school into a place where children not only learn, but also truly grow, strengthen and become happier.

PKG European School Zagreb proudly announces that we have secured our first major project funded by the European Union. This is a great recognition for our school and confirmation that we are building education that goes beyond books and grades, placing student wellbeing at the very center of our work.

Why is this project important?

Today’s children are growing up in a world full of pressures, uncertainties and constant exposure to digital content. Therefore, schools must be more than places where curriculum is learned. They need to be a safe environment that develops confidence, resilience and care for one’s own health. This is exactly what we want to achieve with this project.

What does the project bring to our school?

This EU-funded project brings concrete tools that will become part of our school’s daily life. We are developing educational materials on self-care, digital guides that help teachers support students, and a special application that encourages healthy habits. We are building all of this in collaboration with partners from Croatia, Slovenia, Finland, Italy and Spain through the Erasmus+ program.

In this way, PKG European School Zagreb becomes an even stronger place where children develop not only knowledge, but also personal balance and strength that will accompany them throughout their lives.

PKG European School Zagreb – the school that shapes the future

This project shows how seriously we take our responsibility. At PKG European School Zagreb, we want students to become excellent, but also happy, confident and ready for the world that awaits them. We are proud that with the support of the European Union, we can invest even more in their mental and physical health and build a school where children truly grow in every sense.

This is just the beginning of new great strides we are planning for our students and their families. 💪
