Croatian-American diploma
Two diplomas. One path to the world. Develop your English, independence, and international opportunities with the support of American teachers and PKG.
Dual Diploma Program
At PKG, we offer students an unmissable opportunity: the chance to graduate high school with two diplomas — a Croatian certificate and a diploma from an accredited American high school, in collaboration with Academica International Studies (AIS).
This program is ideal for those who want more: an internationally recognized diploma, excellent English, and a competitive edge when applying to global universities.
Through the Dual Diploma Program, you connect with a global educational community encompassing students from over 30 countries. The program develops academic and language skills, as well as qualities like independence, discipline, and digital literacy.
How does the program work?
Classes are conducted exclusively online and in English, alongside regular attendance at PKG. They are led by certified American teachers, and students gain knowledge and confidence in independent work over the years. The program can be completed in 2, 3, or 4 years, depending on the time of enrollment and desired pace.
To earn the American diploma, six subjects must be completed:
- Two years of English (depending on the level at enrollment)
- United States History (US History)
- US Government and Politics
- Two elective subjects based on personal interests
Most classes are organized asynchronously, allowing students to flexibly schedule their time and learn independently with continuous teacher support and 24/7 platform access. Additionally, each semester includes four mandatory synchronous meetings with teachers and peers from other countries.
Elective Subjects
Students can choose from a wide range of interesting and contemporary subjects. Some of the most popular include:

AP (Advanced Placement) Subjects
For particularly motivated students, there is an option to enroll in advanced AP courses — university-level subjects that offer additional academic challenges and extra points in applications to prestigious universities. AP courses are available for an additional fee.
