European School Zagreb

International high school in Croatian and English.

PKG European School Zagreb provides a quality high school experience for students and the entire family: an international school in Croatian with selected content in English, a personal approach, care for student well-being, and an academically rigorous program. Here, students develop knowledge, self-confidence, and human skills for the era of artificial intelligence, a global future, and a rapidly changing world.

  • Pleasant Environment
  • Development of Self-Confidence

Why the European School?

Because here students gain access to people, knowledge, places, and experiences that shape the world.

Imagine a secondary school where Microsoft, the European Parliament, UCL in London, the Royal Albert Hall and international forums are not distant names, but real experiences where students do not simply look around, but learn up close and gain rare access to exceptional people. The same strength is present in the teaching, the teachers, the mentoring and the everyday work with students.

01 Individualized Approach

Students do not fit into a predefined mold. We monitor their interests, rhythm, needs, and potential, and we adapt support to each student individually. This is the heart of the European School's philosophy.

02 Safe Environment

Our top priority is for students to feel good. We foster a friendly and safe atmosphere, do not tolerate bullying, care for mental health, and create a school where students can make mistakes, try again, belong, and grow with a smile.

03 Development of Self-Confidence

Self-confidence is built through support and encouragement for students to express themselves, ask questions, try, make mistakes, and start over. At the European School, students gradually learn to trust themselves, their abilities, and their path.

04 Serious Work in a Pleasant Atmosphere

Support does not mean leniency. The European School combines closeness with clear expectations, work habits, responsibility, and a serious approach to learning that provides students with security, knowledge, and strength for what comes after school.

05 Meaningful Learning

Students should not just memorize material. They need to understand why they are learning, how to use knowledge, and how to connect it to real life, projects, experiences, and the world around them.

06 International School in Croatian and English

At the European School, Croatian and English coexist as a natural part of the school experience. Students learn in an international and diverse environment, develop an open worldview, and prepare for a future in Croatia, Europe, or anywhere in the global world.

07 7 Academic Tracks for Your Own Direction

At the European School, students gain the breadth of a general high school education and the freedom to delve deeper into what truly interests them. The seven academic tracks connect practical knowledge, interests, and college preparation, while students from different fields remain together, think alongside each other, and learn from diverse perspectives.

08 A School for the Era of Artificial Intelligence

We are not waiting for the era of artificial intelligence; we are living in it, which is why education can no longer remain the same as in the world we have known. The European School does not prepare students for old patterns or place screens at the center of education, but rather develops the human skills that will set them apart most: critical thinking, creativity, communication, independence, responsibility, and smart use of technology.

09 30 Years of Tradition as the Foundation of a New School

Today's European School has its roots in the Private Classical High School, founded in 1996. Today, owned by the Motušić family, it is not the same school in new packaging, but a new and different European School with an international orientation, a modern approach to learning, a broader perspective, and greater readiness for the times in which today's students are growing up. Because the true value of tradition is not to repeat the past, but to build something new on solid foundations.
